  1. A vegetable that is destined to become the basis of a children's lunch or dinner should be young and fresh. We wash it, we clean it: a very young specimen can be used along with a delicate skin, but it should not have any damage on it.
  2. It is better to cut the zucchini into small cubes. For decoration, we divide a small part of it into thin circles and cut out stars or other favorite figures of the child (mushrooms, diamonds) using shortbread cookie cutters - we use them for decoration.

How to cook zucchini casserole for children in a slow cooker

  • We clean the washed zucchini fruit and grind it on a coarse grater, then leave the crushed mass so that excess moisture comes out of it. The liquid will certainly need to be drained, otherwise the dish will turn out watery and will not hold its shape.
  • Armed with a sharp knife, cut the washed tomato and poultry fillet into cubes (the size of a pea).
  • In one container we combine squash pulp, chicken and tomato, add whole raw eggs, put sour cream and pour semolina, leaving somewhere 1 tbsp. about stock.
  • After salting, mix everything until smooth, and let stand so that the dry cereal swells.
