If you want to cook barley in milk, without adding water, simply replace the amount of water indicated in the ingredients with milk. Such porridge turns out to be even more tasty and nutritious than the one that was boiled in water.

Meanwhile, rinse the barley grits under cool water. It is most convenient to use a fine sieve for this process. As soon as the milk mixture begins to boil, add the washed barley groats into it. Stir immediately - this will prevent the formation of lumps during the cooking process.
